About this Story....

Welcome to "Caterpillars to Butterflies." This is a narrative of our faith journey and the incredible transformation God performed in our lives from 2007 to 2009. It is a story of God's unwavering faithfulness and what happens when we choose to trust Him, regardless of how circumstances appear. Through hardships, struggles, loss, and confusion, God revealed Himself to my husband, Tom, and me. We learned invaluable lessons about letting go of our own logic and understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6), surrendering our personal goals, and embracing His eternal purpose for our lives. Ultimately, this journey revealed His redeeming and transforming love for us. We hope our story inspires you to nurture your own faith and deepen your relationship with Him, trusting in His faithfulness no matter what challenges you face. A Timely Word and Waiting on Baby

It is 4:00 p.m., and still no word regarding the house auction. However, we did hear from CB. She called to say that the Lord had placed Tom on her heart to pray for him, so she wanted to let him know. When we told her the house was being auctioned this morning, she said she would keep praying.

Later, she called back with a specific message from the Lord: "Tell them not to be anxious, but that He has everything taken care of." Tom had been stressing pretty badly, so that word was definitely for him! Thank you, Jesus, for your faithfulness and for the obedience of your servants.

E had her doctor's appointment today—she is 3+ centimeters dilated and having semi-regular contractions. Right now, they are walking at the mall, hoping to speed things along. Lord, I pray that you walk with her and help her body to progress.
